Lauren Hotson was honoured as a finalist in the prestigious Siliceous Award for Ceramic Excellence 2025, presented by Ceramic Arts Queensland. Her featured artwork, The Dance of Shadows, is a vessel that explores the delicate interplay between light and darkness, fragility, and resilience. Although she did not win the major prize, Hotson valued the recognition and the opportunity to exhibit alongside a dynamic collection of contemporary ceramic artists.
